Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 7/20/2026
At UniStock ("we," "our," or "us"), we respect your privacy and are strongly committed to keeping secure any information we obtain from you or about you. This Privacy Policy describes our practices with respect to Personal Information we collect from or about you when you use our website, applications, and services (collectively, "Services").
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us to deliver the best possible service. This includes:
- Account Information: Name, email address, password, phone number, and other information you provide when you register for an account.
- Business Information: Details about your inventory, products, sales channels, and business operations that you connect to our Services.
- Billing Information: If and when we introduce paid plans, payment details and billing address will be processed securely by a third-party payment processor — we will never store card numbers ourselves. UniStock does not currently collect any payment information.
- Communication Data: Information you provide when you contact us for support, participate in surveys, or subscribe to our newsletters.
We also automatically collect certain information when you use our Services:
- Log and Usage Data: Service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information our servers automatically collect when you access or use our Services.
- Device Data: Information about your computer, phone, tablet, or other device you use to access the Services, including IP address, browser type, and operating system.
- Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your interactions with our Services.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for various business purposes, including to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain our Services, including syncing and managing your multi-channel inventory securely.
- Process your transactions and send related information, including confirmations and invoices.
- Manage your account and provide customer support, responding to your comments, questions, and requests.
- Send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and administrative messages.
- Analyze usage trends, administer the website, track users' movements around the website, and gather demographic information to improve our platform.
- Comply with our legal obligations, resolve any disputes that we may have with any of our users, and enforce our agreements.
- Protect against, identify, and prevent fraud and other illegal activity, claims, and other liabilities.
3. AI-Powered Matching and Service Improvement
Our Services include AI-assisted features that help match and group your product listings across sales channels ("Sync Groups"). To provide this feature, listing data you connect to us — such as titles, brand, identifiers, and item attributes — is processed by third-party AI service providers, including DeepSeek and, in some cases, Anthropic.
By default, we also collect data about how you interact with these AI suggestions — for example, when you accept, edit, or dismiss a suggested match, or rate a matching result — and use it to evaluate and improve the accuracy of our matching algorithms. This interaction data is tied to your account but is used internally for product improvement; it is not sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes.
You can opt out of this improvement-data collection at any time in Settings → Preferences → Privacy, or during onboarding. Opting out does not affect your ability to use AI-assisted matching — it only stops us from retaining your feedback for algorithm improvement.
4. Sharing and Disclosure of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share the information we collect in the following situations:
- Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us or on our behalf (e.g., payment processing, data analysis, email delivery, hosting services).
- AI and Machine Learning Providers: As described in Section 3 above, we share product listing data with third-party AI providers (including DeepSeek and, in some cases, Anthropic) to power AI-assisted matching features.
- Business Transfers: We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information where we are legally required to do so in order to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.
- Protection of Rights: We may disclose your information where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding potential violations of our policies, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person, and illegal activities.
5. Data Retention and Security
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).
We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to:
- Request access to and obtain a copy of your personal information.
- Request rectification or erasure of your personal information.
- Restrict the processing of your personal information.
- Data portability, where applicable.
- Object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

7. International Data Transfers
Our servers are located primarily in the United States. If you are accessing our Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed by us in our facilities and by those third parties with whom we may share your personal information. By using our Services, you consent to such transfer and processing.
8. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records.
9. Updates to This Policy
